There are a number of
events which makes the festival suitable for all abilities and ages. Just
choose your challenge, set your goals, follow the online training program or
one you currently have and we will be there to meet you at the finish
line. Being a community focused and charity event we have
ensured we have catered to all those wanting to take part including
families and those with disabilities, with our 2km event allowing parents with
prams and wheelchair entrants to take part and enjoy the festival atmosphere.
inaugural year the Sunshine Coast Marathon & Community Run Festival is set
to become a must do event for people from across the Sunshine Coast, throughout
Queensland, interstate and across the globe.
In year one the number of entrants
to will be capped at 5000, which is a number that we
believe will sell out very quickly, so don’t delay in entering if you want to
be a part of history.
Entries Open: 9am, Friday 2 March 2012 (EST)
Online Entries Close: 5pm, Thursday 23 August 2012 (EST), unless sold out* earlier.
Late Entries: Late entries will be available on Friday August 24 and Saturday August 25, are cash only and have a $10 late fee. Entries can be made at the official race hotel "The Mantra Mooloolaba".
